Her love for education and family life exemplifies her belief that God’s design for families is foundational for healthy communities to prosper. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families in the developmental and transitional stages of life, striving to help them grow in strength and spiritual truth.
Jamie holds a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies with a focus in Christian Spirituality from Loyola University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She continues her education to stay relevant with cutting-edge science that is creating a paradigm shift in the study of psychology and the brain. God is revealing Himself through the study of interpersonal neurobiology and quantum physics and as a result the study of the mind-brain connection and brain health are positively influencing the approach to treatment and psychology. We are now starting to look at the organ that we treat – the brain. Science reveals the mind-brain connection and the impact on the body and relationships. She has recently been certified with pioneer brain health expert, Dr. Daniel Amen, as a Certified Brain Health Coach through Light University and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). She is now certified with the AACC as an Attachment Based Intervention Specialist.
For the past fourteen years, Jamie has either mentored, taught or counseled youth, young adults and families of diverse backgrounds. She believes her education, training, professional experience and philanthropy have paved the way to God’s call to serve as a leader and pastoral counselor, allowing God to become the source of wisdom, healing, and hope for individuals and families in our community.
